the year in Hong Kong, with temperatures ranging from 8°C - 14°C,
occasionally dropping to around 2°C. There may be some rain although days are
generally cool and dry. The air is often hazy due to humidity and air
pollution restricting some outdoor activities. |

Generally sunny, with some
rain, and temperatures just below 20°C. Air pollution will begin to reduce
with the ending of the dry winter season. |

Spring brings a sudden rise in
humidity and air temperature, to 19°C - 25°C most days. Infrequent
rainstorms may occur. |
| May |
This is the beginning of
summer and the monsoon season, with daily temperatures ranging from 27°C -
31°C, and a sudden rise in humidity. Hot, sunny days alternate with wet
days. |
| June |
Traditionally the wettest
month of the year, although there are some sunny, clear days. Daily
temperatures are constant at 28°C - 31°C throughout the month. |
| July |
Right in the middle of the
monsoon season, July is hot and humid, with daily temperatures sticking at
around 31°C and humidity around 90% - 95%. Rain is likely. |
| August |
August temperatures remain at
30°C throughout the month, with humidity constant at 90% - 95%.
Days can be bright and sunny or rainy. |
| September |
September sees temperatures
begin to drop to around 28°C and humidity falls to around 80%. Rain is less likely than earlier
in the summer, but this is the month when typhoons are most likely to pass
close to Hong Kong. |

This is one of the most
pleasant months of the year in Hong Kong, with temperatures ranging from
26°C - 28°C and humidity down to around 70%. You can expect clear, sunny
days and little rain. |
| November |
Weather remains pleasant
throughout November, ranging from 20°C - 25°C. The air is dry and the
days are bright and sunny. |
| December |
Although not the coolest
month of the year in Hong Kong, temperatures of around 18°C - 20°C make
the weather very pleasant with little or no rain throughout the month. |
