The twin-cities of Hyderabad-Secunderabad make an interesting short stop if you are passing through on the way to Southern India. It's a historic city and there are several worthwhile sights. CharminarBuilt by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in 1591 to commemorate the end of the plague. It's the surrounding market that's the main attraction.
Golconda FortFounded in the 13th century and
later expanded by the Qutb Shahi kings. It's the main attraction in the area.
