Architect was Norman Foster. Closest JR station is Ochanomizu on the Chuo line. It's very similar to the HSBC building in Hong Kong although simpler in form.
Across the river is Ochanomizu - I like it because of the name - "Water for Tea". There are a number of cafes. A few minutes walk further south in Jimbocho is the book-store district. Also home to a cluster of sporting goods stores.
