Sabang

This was my favorite place in Palawan. The main attraction is the UNESCO-listed underground river and national park monkey and jungle trail walks. Most of all I liked the laid-back village life. It's still very much on the tourist trail, but it's quiet when the day-trippers leave on buses back to Puerto at the end of the day.  Accommodation is cheap - my backpacker hut 100 Peso a night (US$2/night).
